Business Savvy Physician is a boutique physician consulting firm, providing a comprehensive suite of resources for both private practice physicians and Medical Spa owners. Our services cater to those aiming to start their own practice or to elevate and expand an existing one.

We strive to empower private practice physicians and medical spas by providing the resources they need to accelerate their practice growth. For founder Jamie Meltzner Spann, her passion for helping private practice physicians stems from a lifetime of learning from her father, a private practice physician, and over 20 years in the industry as a medical device rep. BSP believes the resources and support it offers practices allows physicians and their teams to focus on what matters most – their patients.

Hi, I’m Jamie Spann.
CEO, FOUNDER
Over the years, I’ve had the honor of working with hundreds of physicians at all stages of their careers.
I’ve seen first-hand how stressful those first steps out of residency can be. I have also seen many physicians decide to leave hospital employment or a group practice they were in because it wasn’t what they expected. The transition in both cases can be extremely taxing and uncertain.
Then, once physicians are in a private practice, they don’t know what they don’t know. For example, physicians don’t always make sure their new information is correct on all major websites so patients can find them easily. Physicians aren’t sure how to increase their revenue without taking on more patients. Managing staff can be annoying and stressful, let alone having to replace staff. Doctors are having to do all of this and still take exceptional care of their patients. All of this can be overwhelming and time consuming.
As someone who has worked with medical professionals for over two decades, and has grown up with a father who spent his whole career as a maxillofacial surgeon in private practice, I decided to start a company to help private practice physicians get and stay in private practice.
My team specializes in starting a private practice, increase revenue without increasing patients, recruiting staff, improving doctors’ online presence, increasing positive patient reviews, and improving workflows.
